When you sit by a river or stream, its common to see small bubbles, foam or other matter floating by. These give an indication of speed and flow of the water. When that same image is shot using a long exposure, these individual elements tend to merge together creating a defined flow, along a common path. Rocks and other obstructions along the way will lead down a different path, but eventually the paths will become merged again.
How often do you find yourself being diverted off track? At the time it might be seen as dead-end path, but that path can take you in places you never expected to go. It might take longer to reach the end, and you might get to the end with a different cohort, but its these side trips that define us and make us all individuals. Embrace the diversion, and let the slip stream take you on your own journey.
