Sometimes as photographers we get too focussed on the destination and don't spend enough time on the journey. I was planning to shoot Stevensons Falls, near Forrest in the Otway Ranges, when i decided that the weather was stable and i had plenty of time to walk along the river bank rather than take the path.
Taking my time to get to the destination allowed me to stop many times and capture the small rapids along the way. In this trip the trip to the falls was a very slow one indeed!
